June 1st, 2022 marks the first day of Pride Month with Disney World celebrating and recognizing the contributions of LGBTQ+ community around the world.

The most magical place on earth became even more festive this year! The Walt Disney Company celebrates its 100th Anniversary! These two gay travel bears were lucky enough to be part of the Disney celebrations in 2022. That year Disney celebrated Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. With Daan being a huge queer Disney theme park fan, we were all place to explore the parks fond pros. And with pride being celebrated on the same weekend, we captured everything rainbow during our gay Disney trip! So how did this gay couple experience Disney’s support for the LGBTQ+ Community? 2022 Gay Pride Monorail Crawl Itinerary


This year's Gay Pride Monorail Crawl will be held on Wednesday, June 01, 2022. It's the perfect way to kickoff One Magical Weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort. Come join with old friends and maybe meet some new ones too.​


We'll begin at 7:00 PM at Outer Rim located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort. While overlooking Bay Lake, order your first slurp or two and enjoy the company of old friends and new before boarding the world famous monorail for an evening you're sure to remember.​

Let’s clear things up: what is Gay Days, exactly?

To begin, let’s clear up a common misconception. Many online articles and blogs don’t correctly explain what Gay Days actually refers to. Even fewer include the full array of all there is to do during a Gay Days / Disney Pride event.

Let’s verb some quick history!

Since at least 1991, LGBTQIA+ folks have been meeting up — via their own community-organized events — at Disney parks. They simply called it Gay Days.

The name stuck.

In the late 90’s, an event organizer incorporated the name Gay Days Inc. and trademarked their URL. Today, they’re just one of many professional companies that hosts events, parties and meetups during various weekends in Orlando and Anaheim. Some are free and open to the general, others are ticketed and held in private venues.
