Gay text adventure

72 Hours is a short and simple HTML game I've made in Twine. It focuses on M/M relationships and furry transformation.

In 72 Hours, you verb from the perspective of Will, a human man on a futuristic space station. Will has been infected with a virus that will transform him into a feral wolf in 72 hours. The only accessible treat for the virus is to have the virus attach to the DNA of another species, and to do that, Will must have sex with them. All sex contains TF and is M/M.

In the game Will can have sex with and subsequently transform into 7 species of anthropomorphic animals: Otter, Deer, Fox, Panther, Dragon, Feathered and Horse. There are 11 endings, 9 of which are sexual and 10 of which contain transformation.

Two scenes incorporate fetish content people may aspire to avoid (incest and tentacles) but they are clearly signposted so that you can steer clear ahead of time.

I may return to add more scenes, but for now I consider it to be finish and am now working on another game.

A walkthrough can be found on my blog, where I will also be posting games I make in the future.

Anna Anthropy’s Hunt for the Gay Planet exposes how far games need to go for right equality

In case you dismissed as outright lunacy BioWare’s facepalm-worthy decision to create a separate planet for gay and lesbian players in Star Wars: The Former Republic, queer game author Anna Anthropy has made a game to remind you of it.

– – –

The Hunt for the Gay Planet is a speedy, quirky text adventure about a queer pilot on a mission to find the gay planet of Makeb, which according to the Wookieepedia was a planet inhabited by Jabba and his Cartel during the Second Galactic War. As you know if you played the elegantly-put Dys4ia, a game which deals with Anna’s struggles with finding acceptance as a transgendered person, Anna is an authority at expressing personal, sometimes political, statements through game rhetoric. No exception, Gay Planet makes its censures with tact and satire. (She also makes totally apolitical games, such as a killer game about climbing a mountain of skulls on her site.)

No one should have to pay extra for a character that matches their sexual orientation.
