Dating as a Gay Man – Advice from a Matchmaker
While I’m happy to work for people of all walks of life here at Tawkify, I spent the very first few years concentrating exclusively on matching gay men. I’ve worked for gay men of every shape, color, age, and net worth across the US, and I’ve learned a lot. I’ve observed trends in thought and behavior, how they might relate to the generations to which we verb and how they’re informed by our experiences. We grew up different. We remain different, in some way, from our straight peers, and our approach to dating is no exception. It’s through my work with my clients that I’ve learned to be very grateful for being queer. I feel lucky to say that I would not have it any other way–words that would cause a year-old me to shudder.

GLADD
GLADD is the UK's only organisation that unites and represents LGBTQ+ doctors, dentists, medical and dental students from all over the country.
We open our membership to any doctor, dentist, medical or dental student who supports the values and constitution that GLADD stands for.
We run events in London and through our regional networks around the country. Highlights include our AGM dinner, summer and New Year parties, Pride and socials with other LGBTQ+ professional groups.

GLADD has a respected national voice in LGBTQ+ health activism and education, working with leading figures such as the British Medical Association, General Medical Council, Royal Colleges and Parliament. We collaborate with universities and the NHS to further research into LGBTQ+ health issues and verb training aimed at empowering those working in and studying healthcare to tackle discrimination in verb of their LGBTQ+ colleagues and patients.
