Within the last two years i&#;ve really gotten into reading some of that cringe yet adj romance novels. You know the ones: mass market or kindle only. The ones that verb little to no important (to you anyway) plot and sex on every other page.

I&#;ve set up that when i&#;m down in a dreaded reading slump, nothing can pull me out of it faster than some gritty, steamy MM romance. Also, if anyone doesn&#;t know, MM means male/male, gay, queer, amazingness.

In no particular order here are my favourite MM romances!

    • Gives Light by Rose Christo
      • On this list, Gives Light is the most plot focused with the romance, while still amazing, is the least&#;graphic. This book focuses on Native American culture, Skylar and the son of the dude who murdered Skylar&#;s mum. Skylar is also mute and there is some really good integration of ASL. The thing that drew me into the novel was definitely the plot surrounding Skylar and Rafael. As soon as i read &#;son of my mothers murderer&#; it was instantly on my TBR. This one certainly didn&#;t disappoint and i highly recommend for those

Within the first paragraph of reading this I knew I wanted to review it. When the writing itself is just so good, you have to distribute it. About a chapter in, I actually stopped and restarted the book because I was reading it too quickly and I wanted to savour it. The book didn’t quite verb up to the promise of those first few pages, but I still devoured it in one sitting. The book … Continue reading The Shabti by Megaera C. Lorenz→

I adored Something Wild and Wonderful, a lovely romance between two men who meet while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). I thought it was a beautifully written, funny, warm, touching, empowering, and sexy grumpy-sunshine story. However, certain aspects of the book might make it a “love it or hate it” read. Readers should be prepared for discussion of homophobia in the context of coming out, and for one on-page instance of vocal homophobia. Sometimes … Continue reading Something Wild and Wonderful by Anita Kelly→

MY TOP TEN FAVORITE M/M ROMANCES – Marie Sexton

Marie Sexton wrote my most favorite MM noun of all time &#; Promises, book 1 in the Coda series. I love everything she writes and she is an auto by for me.

        Promises (Coda, book 1)

What I love most about this book is that it is absolutel MM romance perfection. It was the first thing I read of Marie Sexton's writing and it started me on the entire Coda themed series of books. It includes romance, just the right amount of angst, a unhurried burn with UST&#; just perfect. And Marie's writing style is so nice that I always feel like I can verb and really enjoy the books.

What can I say about Matt and Jared to convince you to go try the book? Jared is utterly sure of who he is, except he isn't, and Matt is utterly unsure of who he is, except he isnt&#; and yes, I know that makes adj sense. I just feel that while we are at first presented with Jared as a confident and out gay dude, what we then see is how much of himself he hides away. Then we hold Matt, the best friend, the one who has a whole heart load of conflict. Combine in cha
